Live Log Indication

2. Live Log Indication
This is an indicator that you are connected to the OnAir and editing the live log for today.
If a change is made in the active OnAir, then you will see this indication:
Everything will be grayed out until you refresh your log to match the OnAir's.
Just below the Player and Input Volume Levels is a date and time.
Green indicates the last succesful log refresh.  The time turns gray when it is waiting to refresh.

3. Log Window
This windows acts just like the Log Editor (If the Edit Functions are Enabled) and shows the events in a particular day's log.

Voice Tracking Area

4. Voice Tracking Area
This area contains all of the information you need as well as the controls to record and play back your Voice Track.
The software calculates a Voice Track Length to fit the intro of the second element.

Voice Tracking

Buttons

5. Voice Tracking
Buttons
Record plays the last few seconds of the element before the VT and then allows you to record.
Before you can record, the button says Set Song Seg in case you want to start your VT earlier than the segue point set in Production.
While recording the button says Set VT Seg which tells the element after the VT to start.
You can continue to record over the intro of the second element until you push the button which now reads Stop.
This gives you the full DJ experience: hearing the outro and talking over the intro of the next song.
You can drag the 2nd and 3rd elements to adjust the timing.

The second record option says Quick Record which only records your voice track.
Zone then calculates the intro and outro times to automatically place your voice track with auto-segues.
To see about setting the intro times, look HERE

Also during recording the Abort VT Rec button lights up if you need to abort the Voice Track.

The green Audition button allows you to hear the outro, VT, and intro as it will air.

The Edit VT Audio button will open the built-in Audio Editor where you can trim heads and tails or adjust levels of your VT.

Refresh VT Waveform redraws the visualizations.

Scheduled

Hour Lengths

7. Scheduled
Hour Lengths
This area shows each hour of the day and how much audio file time is scheduled as well as a total for the day.

Note: If you run satellite programming or other alternate programming the hours may appear too short.
For example if a satellite show only gives you 12 minutes of local breaks, that hour may only show 12:00 instead of 60:00.
It also does not take into account microphone time.
