Installing the Upgrade Files
The Upgrade Files need to be installed on the local machine to enable the DJB HeartBeat program to create the SQL backup.
To install the upgrade files, copy the installer to the Onair machine and double click the setup file.
The Installer will walk you through the install.
Click Yes to allow the software to install the files on your system.
Click Next.
Select the Drive to install your Zone files on... this should not be the C drive in the system....
Zone Files and the SQL databases should always be on a separate drive from Windows.
Once you have selected the correct drive click Next.
The installer will Verify your choice for the Zone drive, click Next to continue.
Setup will install the files to your system.
Click Finish to exit the installer; this will start the installation of the PostgreSQL server software.
The Postgres install is preconfigured and requires no user interaction.
Now browse to your ZONEAUDIO folder and copy it and paste it into the audio drive on the Onair computer.
In order to keep these files up to date, you can use the free program SyncBack Free to backup from the Server to the Local computer.
