Import Music From 3rd Party Scheduler
From the Scheduling Menu if you select [Import External Music] you will see the above window.
To import music from a Music Log file, highlight the day you wish to import and click the [Import Music] button.
When you are finished importing Music click the [Close] button.
Import Music Structure
· ASCII File (Text)
· Filename format is MUS_MMDDYYYY.LOG where MM is the 2 digit month, DD is the 2 digit day, and YYYY is the year.
· File needs to be saved in the ZONEDATA\Schedules\ folder. (Matching the path in the settings)
· Event format is HH[space]CCCCC where:
· HH is the hour in military time 00 through 23, followed by a single space,
· CCCCC is up to a 5 digit cart number 00001 to 31000 - leading zeroes are not mandatory.
· You need to schedule at least the same number of 9993 command cuts in the DJB Zone shell as you schedule per hour in your music scheduler.
· It is okay to have too many 9993s, but having too few will cause problems.
· {MMSS - Soft Sync, cues the item to be next to play at MMSS.
· }MMSS-Exact Time fires the item at exactly MMSS.
· !9XXX-The exclamation point preface tells Zone the 9XXX number is a command cut. !9201 will insert a commercial avail for Break 1.
Exact Times (hard and soft syncs)
You can schedule an item to be cued to be next (soft sync) or trigger at an exact time (hard sync) directly from your Music Scheduler.
