Edit Security Settings

This section allows you to password protect the boxes on the production menu bar.
You type in a password and click Save for each password you wish to use.
You may protect some, none, or all of the boxes.
In order for the saved passwords to take effect, you must check the Enable Security box.

**NOTE:  If you put a password in the Engineering box, make sure you remember it as you will need it to get back in to change or disable the password.

If you place a password in the On-Air box, users will need to enter it to access VoiceTracking, Hot Key Editor, or the Manual Weather Updater.
If you place a password in the Production box, users will need to enter it to access the Production Database Editor or MultiCut Carts.
If you place a password in the Programming box, users will need to enter it to access Log Editor, Scheduler, Time and Temp Setup, and the Sports Interface Editor.
If you place a password in the Engineering box, users will need to enter it to access Edit Satellite Grids, Edit I/O Controls, Edit Command Cuts, BGR Schedule,
Edit Security Settings, and Edit Station Settings.

If you are in VoiceTracking and attempt to Enable Edit Functions, you will need the Programming password since that is the same as Log Editor.
The same passwords are used when accessing the Production features from inside OnAir.
If you click the yellow Production button, you will need the Production password.
If you open Log Editor you will need the Programming Password.
Voice Tracking and Hot Key Editor will both ask for the On-Air password.
